The Laundry

Written up in the New York Times "A gastro-pub with a vintage feel... Housed in an old brick laundromat retrofitted with teardrop-shaped light fixtures and Art Deco-style wine racks..."

The owners wanted this restaurant to exude a feeling of a stripped down industrial version of the wild west. Exposed brick, reclaimed wood planking, and raw metals give it appeal. The feeling of nostalgia is revealed in the carerra marble bar and the inlaid marble mosaic street number that greets each guest at the front door. Evening spaces illuminated with vintage filament bulbs that hang over each table creating a space for intimacy.
